Use of Engraving in my artwork
Engraving in my artwork essentially Involves using an electric dermal tool on rough or solid materials, like metal, glass, wood and acrylic plastic.
When carrying out the engraving procedure, I use sharpie markers for outlining my designs, then engrave on the outlines.
Use of mixed media through my process
When working during this year I have been thinking about using different materials and practices including but not limited to …
Print making
Wood engraving & glass engraving
Engraving on acrylic plastic
Using Projectors & Chimney coal
Through these Separate processes I have combined the methods through placing each material and object within a 3D frame to amplify the theme within my work The Industrial revolution.
